Be part of efforts to rebuild our state, Ozigbo calls on stakeholders
Governance People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Leader Valentine Ozigbo, called on stakeholders to play an active role in efforts to induct quality governance in the state.
Ozigbo said his desire to contribute more to the development of the state made him throw his hat in the ring, promising to rebuild the state economically and socially if he had the chance to serve.
The gubernatorial candidate spoke at a public meeting with one of his support groups, Friends of VCO, held in the community of Oraukwu, in the local government area of Idemili North of the State.
“You are here because you are important to the grand vision of Anambra State, and we expect a few things from you and other progressives who are passionate about changing Anambra State.
“We need your prayers. We need you to be our ears, eyes and feet on the ground in your various locations. We need you to be true ambassadors of Ka Anambra Chawapu’s message.
“We will implement a performance driven system that will reward everyone who participated in the work,” said Ozigbo, who was the outgoing president of TRANSCORP PLC.
Also speaking, the candidate for the post of vice-governor of the party, Ms Azuka Enemo, said that she and Ozigbo would lead an inclusive government that would involve everyone, regardless of gender, religious belief or place of origin.
“It is clear that Valentine Ozigbo makes women a priority. We assure you that we will ensure that women play more than a nominal role in our administration, ”assured Enemo.
